The boiler has failed to ignite — the flame was not sensed during the ignition sequence. The most common Vokera fault code.
A01 in winter is commonly caused by a frozen condensate pipe. Thaw before resetting.
Step-by-Step Fix Guide

Step 1
Check gas supply — try other gas appliances in the home

In cold weather, check for a frozen condensate pipe and thaw with warm water

Move the mode selector to OFF/RESET, wait 30 seconds, then move back to heating mode

If A01 persists after reset, call a Gas Safe engineer to inspect the ignition electrode and gas valve
