The boiler has failed to ignite and locked out. On older Halstead models this is indicated by a flashing red LED.
Cold Weather Note
A frozen condensate pipe can cause ignition failure in cold weather.

Press the reset button (or turn off and on at the mains)

Check gas supply is on

If the fault recurs, call a Gas Safe engineer — the electrode, gas valve or PCB may be faulty
