Ignition Failure / No Flame
The boiler has failed to ignite — no flame was detected after the ignition sequence. This is the most common Ferroli fault code.
Frozen condensate pipes are a common cause of A01 in winter. Thaw before calling an engineer.
Step-by-Step Fix Guide

Step 1
Check that your gas supply is working by testing other gas appliances

Check for a frozen condensate pipe in cold weather and thaw with warm water

Press and hold the reset button (usually marked 'R' or with a flame icon) for 5–10 seconds

If the boiler fires, monitor it

If A01 returns, call a Gas Safe engineer to inspect the ignition electrodes and gas valve
