PCB Fault / Lockout
The main Printed Circuit Board has detected an unspecified fault and locked the boiler out. This is Baxi's catch-all fault code when the issue cannot be precisely identified.
E168 in winter can sometimes be caused by a blocked condensate pipe. Check for this before assuming PCB failure.
Step-by-Step Fix Guide

Step 1
Try switching the boiler off at the mains (not just the programmer) for 10 minutes, then restart

If the code returns, reset the boiler once using the reset button

If E168 persists, a Gas Safe engineer needs to inspect the PCB, condensate system, and ionisation circuit
